When you log on as an administrator you will see this.

Clicking on "DB Changes" you will see the following:

Always back up your DB file before making any changes!

3. DB Changes Pages

Basically there are four sections:

  1. Edit Category
  2. New User
  3. New Category
  4. Informational line

3.1 To Edit a category

  1. Select a category from the list
  2. When it appears in the "Edit This" field, make your changes.
  3. Click "Save Edited Cat."

Check the info section for notes. The list will be re-populated with your change.

3.2 To Delete a category

Please note that when you delete a category, its index is also deleted and any references to it will then not show up. Simply recreating a category does not use the same index. If an error occurs, please delete you current DB file and replace it with your back up.

  1. Select a category from the list
  2. It appears in the "Edit This" field.
  3. Click "Delete Cat"
  4. Confirm Deletion

Check the info section for notes. The list will be re-populated with your change.

3.3 To Change, Edit, or Add a user

  1. Select the "Click to Add a New User" button

Here you can manipulate the users. Again note, if you alter the users, the reports which depend on them will also be altered.
